You may look like you’re coping, but inside You feel overwhelmed or disconnected
You may be holding things together on the outside, while inside feeling exhausted, uncertain, or unsure of who you are or what you need. Perhaps you’re someone others rely on at work, in relationships, or in your family, and over time you’ve lost touch with yourself. Or something in your life has shifted, and you’re now ready to focus on your own needs.

Who I work with
I work with thoughtful, capable adults, often professionals, carers, or those in helping roles, who are used to supporting others, and are now looking for a space to focus on themselves.
You might recognise yourself in some of the following:
Feeling overwhelmed or burnt out
A loss of identity or sense of self
Navigating life transitions (career change, midlife, menopause, empty nest)
Bereavement or loss
Relationship difficulties or challenges with boundaries
People-pleasing or putting others first
Feeling emotionally disconnected or numb
Many clients describe feeling like they are “holding it together” on the outside, while internally feeling stretched, uncertain, or disconnected.
Therapy offers a space to slow down and begin to understand these experiences more fully, helping you reconnect with your needs, values, and sense of self. I offer a calm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can speak openly and at your own pace.
About me
I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist and an HCPC Registered Dramatherapist, with over 25 years’ experience supporting adults in therapeutic settings.
I work within the ethical framework of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
My approach
My work is relational and reflective. This means we may explore patterns in your relationships, consider how past experiences are shaping your present, and support you in developing clearer boundaries and a stronger sense of self.
Clients often find they gain:
greater clarity
increased confidence
a stronger connection to themselves
When words are hard to find
As a trained dramatherapist, I can also offer creative ways of working where helpful, using imagery, metaphor, or gentle experiential approaches. This can be particularly useful when experiences feel difficult to put into words. There is no expectation to work creatively, we will always work in the way that feels most comfortable for you.
